Our design philosophy for ReTire PET

LOTUS set out to address the problem of environmentally sustainable design. To this end, we asked the simple question of how to integrate materials that would otherwise be incinerated or destined for a landfill into its products. In the tire industry, defective tires are an inevitable part of the manufacturing process. Therefore, we started trying to use these materials to make bicycle bags that are both environmentally friendly and durable. The inner bag is entirely made of RE-PET material, making it feasible and more efficient to recycle this bag in the future. This design significantly reduces carbon footprint and waste generation. Unlike other products on the market, this bike bag transforms waste and recycled materials into a distinctive and durable product, which is a concrete realization of our commitment to the environment and sustainability goals.
